ROLE DESCRIPTION
Rosnium is looking for a lead technical project manager who takes ownership, brings clarity to complex work, challenges plans that don’t make sense, and keeps delivery moving (not just tracks progress). You will work closely with Engineering, Product, Business and Operations to turn business goals into practical delivery plans. You’ll coordinate teams, manage dependencies, resources and budgets, and give stakeholders a clear view of progress, risks and decisions. This role combines strong delivery discipline with technical understanding, sound judgement and the ability to bring people together when priorities change.
What You will Own
Delivery Ownership: Take responsibility for projects from planning through completion, keeping scope, timelines, resources and budgets aligned with business goals.
Clear Priorities: Turn complex initiatives into manageable workstreams, with clear milestones, dependencies, responsibilities and measures of success.
Stakeholder Alignment: Keep teams and senior stakeholders aligned on priorities, trade-offs and decisions, with clear visibility into progress and risks.
Better Ways of Working: Improve delivery processes, reduce unnecessary reporting and help teams use approved AI tools safely and effectively.
What You will Do
Practical Planning: Build and maintain project plans that bring together technical requirements, deliverables, timelines, resources and budgets.
Cross-Team Coordination: Work with Engineering, Product, Business and Operations to agree responsibilities, manage dependencies and keep work moving.
Risks & Resolution: Identify risks and blockers early, track assumptions and decisions, and bring the right people together to resolve issues before they affect delivery.
Clear Communication: Provide concise updates on milestones, risks, budget changes and outcomes, making clear where decisions or support are needed.
AI-Assisted Delivery: Use company-approved AI tools to consolidate inputs, draft plans, summarise risks and prepare updates, checking outputs for accuracy and handling sensitive information appropriately.
Continuous Improvement: Review delivery results, reuse useful plans and templates, and turn lessons learned into practical improvements in team efficiency and project execution.
Required Qualifications & Skills
6+ years in project management, technical delivery, change management, operational improvement or a related discipline; or 4+ years of experience supported by relevant formal training.
A track record of delivering technology projects across multiple teams, workstreams and competing priorities.
Confidence working with engineers to understand requirements, dependencies and trade-offs, and explain their impact to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong experience turning business goals into delivery plans and applying Agile practices as requirements and priorities change.
Clear communication skills, including experience presenting progress, risks and recommendations to senior leadership.
The ability to work independently, bring clarity to ambiguity, anticipate issues and keep teams focused on the highest-impact work.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience using approved AI tools for planning, reporting or risk analysis, with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
Relevant project or programme management qualifications, or formal training in Agile delivery.
Experience improving delivery workflows, governance or reporting without adding unnecessary overhead.
Experience supporting software engineering, systems integration, cloud or AI projects.
