AI Engineer (Microsoft Copilot & Power Platform AI)

Rosnium is looking for an AI Engineer to make AI a practical, working layer across the Microsoft solutions we deliver for enterprise and mid-market clients. This is a hands-on engineering role: you will work across Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, AI Builder, Microsoft Fabric AI, and the Power Platform to build AI capabilities that address real operational problems.

Role Description

The role involves extracting structured data from documents, predicting failures before they occur, and surfacing the right information to the right person at the right moment. The engagements are complex, the environments are production-grade, and the work has direct commercial impact.

Responsibilities

Design and build custom Copilot agents for logistics use cases: driver assist, operations query, customer self-service, compliance guidance, and maintenance support.

Build and publish custom connectors in Copilot Studio to connect agents to Dynamics 365, third-party TMS and WMS platforms, and external data sources.

Implement autonomous agent topics, adaptive cards, and multi-turn conversation flows.

Configure Copilot for Microsoft 365 extensions across Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint to surface logistics data in the flow of work.

Extend Copilot for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Supply Chain, and Field Service with custom prompts and grounding data.

Design and implement retrieval-augmented generation pipelines grounded in logistics knowledge bases: rate cards, routing rules, compliance documents, and maintenance manuals.

Build Azure OpenAI integrations where Copilot Studio alone cannot meet the requirement: complex reasoning, multi-step orchestration, and high-volume document processing.

Implement prompt engineering and prompt management patterns appropriate for production logistics environments.

Ensure responsible AI practices across all delivered solutions: content filtering, grounding validation, hallucination mitigation, and audit logging.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Hands-on Copilot Studio experience: custom agents, connectors, topics, and adaptive cards.

Azure OpenAI Service experience: prompt design, RAG pipelines, and grounding with Azure AI Search.

AI Builder experience across document processing models, prediction models, and object detection.

Power Platform experience sufficient to integrate AI capabilities into Power Automate flows and Power Apps.

Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or Power BI for AI-enhanced analytics.

Working understanding of responsible AI principles and practical implementation of content safety and grounding controls.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience building and training AI Builder models for document processing: invoice extraction, customs document reading, ePOD digitisation, and CMR and delivery note capture.

Logistics or supply chain domain experience is a strong advantage.

Microsoft certifications: AI-102, PL-300, or DP-600.
